Wedding Ceremony
Your Wedding Ceremony can take place in one of the many picturesque locations in the wonderful gardens around the Castle.
Favoured spots include the Rock Garden on the Ballroom Lawn, the Reflecting Pond with Dunedin City framed in the background, the Alice lawn or under the beautiful 1930s Cupola near the herbaceous border. The Castle offers you not only a stunning and romantic venue but also a high standard of service and quality.
Wedding ceremonies and photographs at Larnach Castle and Larnach Castle Gardens are exclusively available only to couples hosting their reception at Larnach Castle.
The Ballroom
The Ballroom features period architecture, glorious furnishings, magnificent chandeliers, baronial open fires, and a polished sprung dance floor. The Ballroom is able to accommodate between 80 and 180 people in a variety of settings that can be coordinated to your requirements.
There is also the option of adding a Marquee to the side of the ballroom; this increases the capacity to 270. The lower veranda of the Castle is the perfect area for the pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
The ballroom is complemented by a cloakroom, fully fitted bar and modern washroom facilities.

Introducing Camp Estate...
Camp Estate is a perfect choice for weddings. This property offers complete privacy and is available for whole-of-house lets.
There are two dedicated function rooms, with state of the art technology. As well as the function rooms, guests have the use of the sitting room and spectacular lobby areas.
This Country House also has five spacious bedrooms. The rooms are luxuriously decorated, with particular attention being paid to guest comfort. Particularly lovely features of the rooms are the fire places and the pastoral views of the surrounding countryside.
