A murder mystery with a twist and the greatest play Shakespeare NEVER wrote all in one night, all fully improvised by The Covert Theatre.

The Remarkable Case Of and A Bard's Tale, hosted at Larnach Castle as part of the 2026 Dunedin Fringe Festival. 

A live double-featured improvised comedy show with an intermission in between. 

The Remarkable Case Of takes the audience on a journey back to 1947 England to help an exuberant author solve a mysterious murder with a hilarious twist. 

A Bard’s Tale is a witty and whimsical, unscripted Shakespearean style play, sure to delight even the bard himself.

VIP tickets: $95 each
