Children receive free entry* to Larnach Castle during the NZ school holidays!

To support families and thank them for their support, Larnach Castle kindly offers Kids Go Free during the NZ school holidays (Saturday 28 September to Sunday 31 October 2024).

Details: Up to 3 children free with 1 accompanying paying adult ($45.00 for Castle and Garden Entry or $22.00 for Garden Entry). A child is classified as anybody aged 14 or under. See all Terms & Conditions below.

Kids Go Free for Castle and Garden includes: full entry to the Castle including the tower, Castle gardens, grounds, ballroom cafe, gift shop, historic stables and outbuildings. Informative brochure provided for self-guided tour of Castle, gardens and grounds.

Kids Go Free for Garden includes: entry to the Castle gardens, grounds, ballroom cafe, gift shop, historic stables and outbuildings. Informative brochure provided for self-guided tour of Castle, gardens and grounds.

Food and Beverage: the Ballroom Cafe is open from 9.30am - 4.30pm daily, serving Castle-made food, barista coffee and childrens snackboxes. We do not take reservations, there are plenty of tables so you won't miss out. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

*Terms & Conditions:

• Up to 3 children free with 1 accompanying paying adult ($45.00 for Castle and Garden Entry or $22.00 for Garden Entry). You may bring 6 children with 2 accompanying paying adults and so on.​

• A child is classified as anybody aged 14 or under.

• This is a retail product through Larnach Castle only for families via our Gatehouse or Online. This is not for preschools, schools or holiday programmes, tourism operators or booking agents.

• Current Loyal Local Pass for an adult can be used and must be shown upon entry along with a photo ID.

• This cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer e.g.: kids cannot also get a Loyal Locals card along with free entry. The full paying adult is eligible for a Loyal Local Pass. 

• ​Children must be supervised at all times.
