Unique historic dining experience.

There’s nothing more special than seeing the Castle light up in the evening. And our Castle dinner experience adds a touch of unique elegance filled with storytelling and a delectable 4-course ‘Trust the Chef’ menu. 

Evening dining is served in one of the Castle dining rooms. In keeping with the historic setting, a delicious dinner is served country house party style (with all guests sitting around one table). This is a wonderful chance to meet and engage with our other dinner guests. 

The menu reflects traditional New Zealand style cuisine with all meat and vegetables sourced locally (dietaries of course have beautiful alternative options as well). A child-friendly menu is also available. 

Winter timings and inclusions:

6.30pm: Enjoy your complementary pre-dinner drink in the grand foyer
7.00pm: Dinner served in one of our gorgeous Castle dining rooms.

Bookings are essential and must be booked before 5pm on the day of dining (if availability allows), together with any guest dietary requirements.
