Visitors With Disabilities

The gardens, grounds and ballroom cafe are accessible to all visitors, however the Castle includes several stairways. A wheelchair is available for use in the gardens and grounds, please advise requirement at the Gatehouse on entry to the grounds.

If you bring visitors to Larnach Castle regularly, consider joining our Host Card programme. Pay full price entry to the Castle, Garden and Grounds and complete an application form during this visit then you will qualify for a Host Card.
The Host Card allows you free access to the Castle, Garden and Grounds when you host other paying visitors. You will also receive the Friends of Larnach quarterly newsletter keeping you abreast of Castle matters of interest.
The Host Card is popular amongst many local Otago residents wanting to showcase one of Dunedin's top attractions to their out of town friends.
